Limited The City offers the opportunity to be transported back to the Swinging Sixties with its vibrant music scene. On Tuesday take a Beatles tour with a Blue Badge guide and visit Crosby Beach to see the spectacular sculptures by Antony Gormley, his work ‘Another Place’ consists of 100 cast-iron, life-size figures spread out along three kilometres of the foreshore, stretching almost one kilometre out to sea.
Visitors will be spoilt for choice with Liverpool’s exceptional museums, art galleries, shopping and dining experiences.
On Wednesday we travel to Salford Quays, Manchester and the opportunity for you to visit the Lowry Gallery and the Imperial War Museum North (entries inclusive).
Garden lovers will enjoy a visit to RHS Garden Bridgewater. The RHS’s newest garden continues to evolve with the contemporary Welcome Garden and the walled Paradise Garden with its inspiring blend of Mediterranean and Asiatic planting which leads to the Chinese Streamside Garden.
